Inside the fridge, you'll find 17 shelves and compartments. The fridge compartment is 18.5 cubic feet of space, which is about the same as a French door fridge costing this much. It has a decent sized freezer in the left side. But it's not the most spacious one I've seen.
You can adjust the shelves in both compartments to create customized storage layout for what you want to keep. The GE PYE22PYNFS's interior design is attractive, too. Its LED lighting is a nice touch and the storage bins have the third shelf, which can fold down to allow you to store large items. The drawers include temperature controls that let you set them to Meat, Beverage, or Deli settings. The drawers are easy to shut and open however I found the textured plastic coatings to be a bit rough on my fingers.
The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with all the features you'd expect from a refrigerator within this price range. It has Wi-Fi as well as app support and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app, available for iOS and Android devices can let you control your refrigerator from anywhere in the world, and has numerous options for customization. french door fridge and freezer sends you notifications when doors are left open, when the fridge or freezer needs defrosting and when it's time to change the filter.

This fridge was the top-rated refrigerator in our Refrigerators test for several reasons. The freezer temperatures remained steady at just a few degrees Fahrenheit, and never fluctuating more than a fraction one degree. This is crucial in preventing freezing burn. The fridge's refrigerator section also performed well, achieving the desired temperature for initial set within an hour and keeping that temperature steady over the course of our testing.
Bosch has a reputation for premium appliances and appliances, so it's not a surprise that this counter-depth refrigerator is also a smart appliance, with the option of connecting to your home Wi-Fi as well as Bosch's Home Connect platform. This app allows you to monitor and manage your fridge remotely using your tablet or smartphone. The fridge is expensive, but it comes with excellent features and functionality for the cost.

The LG LRFLC2706S is an excellent counter-depth refrigerator that packs plenty of storage in a compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge is built with a standard French door design, and two rows of spill-capture shelving and a set crisper drawers. The upper right shelf can be folded down to give taller items more headroom. There's also a full-width drawer for deli and an inside water dispenser.
One of the great features of this refrigerator is that its ice maker is in the freezer, which makes it simple to move ice into the fridge to be used when it is needed. The freezer also has clever design features, like sliding drawers that help you organize your items. It comes with a large bin to store frozen food items, and a separate bin for ice.
Smart InstaView panel is another cool feature of the refrigerator. You can manage the temperature, lighting, and more of your fridge from your smartphone. It's a good way to monitor and manage your refrigerator, especially if you're away from home.

It's also a little less than the best counter depth refrigerator that comes with an ice maker, which makes it a desirable choice.
Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
If you're looking for a French door refrigerator that won't cost you a fortune this Frigidaire is a great choice. It's a simple fridge that may not be as appealing as its rivals however it has enough features to make a good choice. Its most notable feature is the adjustable temperature drawer which helps keep food items like veggies and meat fresher for longer. It also comes with a huge ice maker as well as a water dispenser.
The "Chill Drawer", which sits over the two crisper bins, is another excellent feature. This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also pair this fridge with a smart thermometer to get more precise measurements of your fridge's internal temperature.
The Frigidaire FGHB2866PF's exterior is made of grey-bodied stainless steel that has a "smudge-proof" finish. It repels fingerprints and streaks better than other stainless steel finishes I've seen.
